“Murderbot” has added a murderer’s row of talent for its upcoming second season.

It would be hilarious if these are just people who appear in The Rise and Fall of Sanctuary Moon or Worldhoppers.

Having read the books (not the new one yet) and having seen the number 47 floating throughout… I am convinced Sanctuary Moon is analogous to Star Trek. The way the series is described, it feels like it.

EDIT: As a Trekkie, I want this to be true.

That’s what they did with some big names last season (Jack McBrayer, John Cho), it would be great if they kept up the bit.

    Murderbot is so great!

I love how he has watched 23,000 hours of content but is obsessed with the show “The Rise and Fall of Sanctuary Moon.”

The books are pretty good but the latest I had to DNF, wasn’t compelling or offering anything fresh.

The show is okay, not great and not awful. Without drones, which in the books is primary first move of Murderbot, the show doesn’t capture the capabilities very well. It’s also a bit too much pander, cheesy character interpretation and a bit meh.

The show is entertaining and I’m def down for S2 to see if they can improve what they started.

I haven’t read the books (there’s a lot more of them than would have thought), but maybe that’s a good thing as I was able to take the show on its own terms. It was a bit slight, but I really liked it. Reminded me of Resident Alien.

Death to Stalin was one of my favorite Steve B movies, but agreed more would be great. He’s such a great actor.
