There’s a myriad of actors who my brain can’t watch - it just says “Oh that’s not the character, it’s just Steve Buscemi”.
“Celebrity actors” don’t work for me, they ruin films if I recognize them as someone other than the character. The point of acting is to trick me. To trick me into thinking you’re the character.
I see Steve Buscemi, and “that’s just Steve Buscemi”… So functionally for me, he can no longer act. He can’t act well enough to not be recognisable.
Maybe but he seems like a good dude so I’d rather he gets good work. Like, Chris Pratt can get hit by a bus but Steve Buscemi should be getting a-list gigs, imho.
Hell yeah. Love this guy.
I’ll try it to see Buscemi, but I don’t have a lot of hope for it.
