    This is not an Allen key, it’s an Innensechskantschlüssel nursing it’s Innensechskantnachwuchsschlüsselset. Please stick to correct international naming conventions.

      TIL “Inbus” is not really equivalent to Innensechskant, as it refers to a company that produces allen keys and has just become synonymous with it in German, like “Tempo” has for tissues.

      EDIT: Turns out it’s the same in English, Allen is a company and the more generic term is hex key.

        yeah, in my house we’d call them plus screwdrivers and stanley screwdrivers. i call them slot screwdrivers (probably, i’m typing not screwing) now, but thanks for that mindfuck dad.
