That is indeed a sad story that we’ve all experienced but much sadder considering how his life turned out. I hope he gets better.

New Orleans is filled with houses built of lumber from discarded flatboats. Goods would be shipped down the Mississippi river then the boats would be abandoned or dismantled since they couldn’t be floated back up river. That left a nice surplus of lumber in a city that didn’t have that much natively.

That makes me think of the ending of Stand By Me if you’ve seen it. Heart wrenching.
I’ve seen this in person. It’s absolutely stunning.
These were fucking everywhere for a while. More fad than fat.

I live in New Orleans. I pass by those homeless encampments all the time. They are largely separated from populated areas. No one I know cares that they are there.
This bill was written by a Republican from two towns over. That’s who cares. New Orleans is the target of state Republican policies over and over. We are a den of sin filled with people of color, never mind that we fund just about everything in this otherwise miserable state
I love spinach salads but leafy greens upset my stomach. Can anyone suggest alternatives that would have similar health benefits?

Bridge of Death - Manowar
Would I recommend it? Uh… how’s your sense of irony?

Whoa, that’s some good insight. As a fan of that New York mutant disco/funk stuff I’ve always liked Material. Never knew they were involved with that song. Cool.
Sad trombone

This should become the new rickroll.

Modern English - I Melt With You is a catchy new wave pop tune. The rest of their work is much, much darker

Man, I saw so many great murders in that place.
