Honestly, probably the most enjoyable series of novels ever. The jokes are so layered and absurd while being witty well setup. It’s been a few years since I’ve read them, may be time to start over…

Trump is too stupid to be deterred by a nuke.
I dunno man, I saw it busting it’s ass over at the big bang set

Yeah, I think I got every weekly for the first two years and lots of times I never even drove the reward cars lol.
Good luck with 6, while I’m sure it’ll be great I am just not ready for another horizon.
Same as all of us. Basically Larry David but somehow better than the actual man.

I played the fuck outta the last two, but they were basically the same game. From what I’ve seen, not a lot has changed. There’s other driving games out there doing new things, so I have no incentive to start playing horizon 6.
The weekly challenges started feeling more like a chore than a fun experience, and the more or less required multiplayer races were usually awful. It would almost always be me and one other decent racer and the other 4 guys were garbage, you could lose the series even getting first in all the races because your team sucked so hard. I would often take an early lead then use my car to block the CPU cars, then after my teammates all got a solid lead I’d start racing again and usually get back into first.

I played through the mgs2 demo like 20 times, I knew every detail of that boat. The swap to Raiden was jarring and he just generally wasn’t quite as likeable or cool as snake. Game was still cool as heck and fun though.
That’s how you know this guy did it to himself.

It’s kinda similar to the indie scene now, small teams or even solo devs can make things of a smaller scope and can try something totally new or innovate on an old idea in a way AAA games just can’t.

Played it, was pretty good but it’s no river city ransom ex.
They’re actually still making kunio games, but they’re hella overpriced and not as good as river city girls

I don’t have any issues with autonomous driving, I have an issue with the marketing associated with it. Word choice is important and the words Tesla uses imply it can fully self drive and it can’t.
Honestly I agree with the rest of your sentiment, don’t tell me I can’t because of some other dipshit.

It doesn’t, but I wouldn’t be at all surprised to find out 1/4 people sitting in the plane don’t understand that. Most Tesla drivers understand that FSD and autopilot aren’t as robust as their titles imply, but you’ve gotta remember how stupid the average consumer is.
Anecdote: last night I was talking to a childhood friend while gaming and he just rented a new Tesla on a work trip and was talking about FSD. The overconfidence in the system after a few easy highway miles was palpable. The phrase “the future is now” was used. This is a high achieving, high earner in a stem career. A smart guy for sure, and he hadn’t taken the time to understand the system he was using; my expectations for a grocery store manager with a GED is lower.

Pilots are highly trained professionals, Tesla drivers are not.

With names like autopilot and full self driving, there’s a reason people are overconfident in the cars abilities.
Any complication in emergency door releases is a critical failure and tremendous design flaw. Emergency features should be incredibly obvious and easy to use, because when you go to use it there’s a huge chance you’re disoriented or hurt. A system you need to look for as you burn may as well not exist.
The exterior handle design is just awful. There’s a reason other countries are making them illegal and it’s not because they’re a safe choice.
There’s a reason Tesla has the highest fatal accident rate in the US despite having some of the best crash test results. You survive the impact to die a slower more painful death.

We keep entering conflicts with no clear objective because our leadership lies about our reasons for entering the conflict. In both cases we had no hard evidence they were even continuing development of nuclear weapons.
We defeated their military and occupied their countries, but winning implies completing an objective successfully. When we exited Afghanistan the Taliban instantly took control. They completed their objective, they won the war.
Yup, we subsidize them at every step and then pay whatever they ask. Then it all fails to deliver any results.

I bought it for like $5 and got like 30 hours of co-op with my buddies. Games at the arcade cost that much for a few minutes and aren’t nearly as fun as watching your friend fall to their death or get chased by the rapey as scoutmaster.
Anybody complaining is a fool.

Better to have an understanding and strong opinion than to just consume whatever the massive ethicless tech giant shovels into the trough.
I won’t use it because it looks like shit, but to each their own.
Thanks. Haven’t read any of these and you make em all sound pretty rad.
