Articles like this don’t reflect the fact that the suffering endured by the Palestinian people through Israel’s genocidal reprisal has been disproportionately greater by a wide margin than the atrocities committed on October 7.

Your criticism is unfair. The Guardian has published far more articles about the suffering of Palestinian than about the suffering of Israelis.

That’s a bold statement there Cotton. Make a wild claim like that you are going to have to back it up. The Guardian is notorious for using passive voice when describing Israel’s actions in this genocide and for using vague language when describing the crimes against humanity perpetrated by the Israelis. I cancelled my Guardian subscription in protest of their coverage of the genocide.

Is Israel capable of telling the truth ever, they just lie lie lie thinking we are all fools. Remember their lies about Hind Rajab? Or the ambulance workers they buried in a mass grave? I could go on ad infinitum but I am just sick to death of Israel at this stage. The standard response to anything coming out of Israel should be to assume mendacity.

Maybe, and I’m just spitballing here, but maybe that is because there is far far more suffering and atrocities being committed on Palestinians? No, that would just make too much sense.

Let’s just assume The Guardian wrote 10 times as many articles about the suffering of Palestinians than the suffering of the Israelis. That would only make sense if there happened to be 10 times as much suffering. Since 7 Oct, roughly 2050 Israelis have been killed and roughly 74,000 Palestinians have been killed. That is definitely not 10 times as much suffering. It is more like 36 times as much suffering. And that is only the deaths (most of whom were civilians who had nothing to do with the attacks). How many Israeli hospitals have been destroyed? How many Israeli homes have been destroyed? How many Israelis have been permanently displaced?

It’s almost like you believe that Palestinians have lower value than Israelis.
