President Donald Trump issued a foreboding proclamation during a speech in Maryland on Tuesday, just hours after he predicted a “Midterm Surprise!” in a Truth Social post.

“Director of the Office of Management and Budget, Russ Vought, who’s fantastic, he’s on a job, we have some big surprises coming up in another few weeks. Right, Russ?” Trump said. “He’s gonna be one of the very important people in the history of our country, in my opinion. He’s got some great things happening.”

Trump did not expand on what these so-called “surprises” would be.

Outside his role in the Trump administration, Vought is the primary architect of Project 2025, the conservative Heritage Foundation’s blueprint for a second Trump term.

While not mentioned specifically by Trump, many critics online speculated that Trump was referring to some sort of plan to interfere in the midterm elections.

“Between this and his ‘midterm surprise,’ the time to prepare for him to try to steal an election is now,” Fox News host Jessica Tarlov wrote on X.

Other commenters suggested that Vought could use his official capacity to interfere with the elections.

“I know nothing about Project 2025”

-Trump, 2024

I feel the same way, and I appreciate that you said what you said.

This “it’s all shit from here so you should just roll over and die” comment four weeks out from the midterms is not accidental, and surprise, surprise, it’s a two day old account demanding that we all “mark its words” of doom and destruction, lol.

Hell no. Keep the faith, brother. I appreciate you, and every one of us like you.

Fuck the doomers and vote: if your vote weren’t so important, they wouldn’t be working this hard to discourage you from doing it.

I wish you and all of us every success.

Regardless of what I said being wrong or right, why are you being so rude? Your comment history speaks volumes.

You just casually asserted that thousands of people are going to die, providing a definite timeline and location for this attack, all without a wisp of evidence.

Everyone who is already paying even a tiny bit of attention already has an uncountable number of very real, terrifying threats to their own future, their families and loved ones, the planet itself, and you decide to feel important by creating a new one out of thin air.

And then your grievance is that I was rude instead of applauding your amazing foresight?

        • Haha, and it’s my comment that got removed, not Nostradamus’ promise of death and destruction.

I wouldn’t put it past this administration to perform a false-flag if things look dire enough.

We’re talking about an actual insurrectionist here. A treacherous person in every definition of the word.

More likely, they will take some minor protest or something, and use their propaganda network to wag-the-dog and make half the country think that the liberal cities are now effectively Mad Max (again).

There doesn’t need to be another 9/11, they just need to make enough people believe there was.

Not a word of what they said is out of bounds bud. It’s all a very real threat we all face. If you like optimistic sugar-coated feelgood takes, maybe you should avoid discussing American politics.

Do you honestly not know what an opinion is?

Look, I’ll make this easier for you so you don’t have to get so upset at others for what they think:

You go ahead and create a community and list in the rules, how everyone should think and what they should say. And then you can require everyone to memorize a list of things you find irritating and off-limits, and then test them on it before they’re ever allowed to post- we will all join it- and promptly never post.

But there, you can have everything exactly as you want it and no one will ever disagree or say things that upset you.

              Mkay? Sound fun? Super!

Debate your 3 day old doomer account?

What can be asserted without evidence can also be dismissed without evidence.

            You are dismissed.

The evidence is in Trump’s words and actions. He’s talking about missiles hitting San Diego and you aren’t in the lease bit worried? Do you think it’s just some plausible deniability? The evidence is there

Trump said that he would sacrifice San Diego or LA. He can’t keep his mouth shut and has likely spoken with conspirators about it. He won’t say that he won’t call martial law. Do you remember Jan. 6th? Do you remember when he was “shot at” during the election. He’s done this shit before.

Do you think I’m the first person in history who thinks something like this could happen?

You can contest someone’s point without being rude. Or can you?
