SALINE COUNTY, Kan. (KWCH/Gray News) — A Norwegian man attempting to rollerblade across the U.S. was killed in a hit-and-run in Kansas, officials said.
The Saline County Sheriff’s Office identified the man as 24-year-old Joachim Lanham.
Lanham was documenting his rollerblading journey across the U.S. on Instagram. According to a post from his family, he was hit by an SUV on day 22 of his journey from New York to Los Angeles
Genuine question: Why can’t the trucks be smaller? Like in pedestrianized areas where we live all the shops are small and the delivery truck are just delivery vans. Would be a more realistic approach and a semi truck. Could even further utilize the freight station or local harbor as distribution centers. Don’t think trucks are realistically the answer
The smaller the truck is, the more trucks and distribution warehouses you need.
1 semi and a forklift can move 26×2×2 pallets. A van might hold 1 if it has the suspension, a kei truck 1-6.
Different areas have different logistics needs and resources.
