On the bright side, Season 1 told largely a complete story with just a few loose threads left, so fans will not be left hanging too much by the cancellation.

Seems like the story are made to be just 1 season, so it’s mostly not “cancelled” instead it’s not renewed. Which is good i guess, lot of series start off great but take a nose dive after a few seasons, and unplanned season usually sucks anyway.
