    I feel like this is a feel good piece for people scared about being replaced for people who will probably be replaced by someone who is willing to actually use whatever tools are useful instead of pretending that quickly improving tools are perpetually stuck in 2022.

      I am not debating whether AI is advancing, however, I do think that in their current form, they’re barely more than toys. They lack the control that a tool demands, but any improvement on that front would immediately destroy the novelty of genAI.

      The other problem is that everyone thinks that by yesterday, you should have had found a usecase for AI in your already perfected workflow, and show the world that it is capable of making non-slop things, but still “10xing” your productivity.
