    Yeah… I wouldn’t recommend shooting at a metal object from a few feet away.

    Also, I know it was a different era, but if I saw someone shooting an inanimate out of anger today, I would assume that person belongs to a certain cult.

      Hunter S. Thompson once gave an interciew at his home when you could hear gunfire. He said it’s his neighbour shooting at him, so he pulled out his gun and fired back. He wasn’t really shooting at someone, but in the general direction of his house. Fair to say that these people weren’t particularly well

      Charitably, I have to assume that familiarity with the object in question would change my view. The printer destruction scene from Office Space was a cultural phenomenon for a reason, after all.
