Shrimps is bugs
This has always gotten me confused. There are several land based bugs, like rolly-pollies, that are technically crustaceans not insects but for some reason we don’t see water crustaceans the same way. The article even mentions that crustaceans fill the same niche.
Hexapoda is now underneath crustacea, all of them are crustaceans.
It’s probably a lot easier to not live in the ocean where EVERYTHING wants to eat you.
