Apparently if you have enough money for a decent lawyer you can just refuse a court order to pay people.

It’s the inherent problem with the American judicial system, judges only utilize the full power of the court against defenseless poor people. When dealing with anyone who they see as belonging to their own class suddenly they have an infinite amount of patience and empathy.

This is by no means a problem with the U.S. legal system—it is its very purpose. It is the instrument of power that enables a tiny minority to rule over the majority.

The law has very little to do with justice, as is evident from the fact that Clarence Thomas is not in prison but is a Supreme Court “justice.”

Yah refusing a court order seems to be the MO for these people now, it’s just ridiculous. Truly a society with a privileged class along with the executive privileges it comes with.
