I am not sure open source can reproduce the “LinkedIn experience”. I’m also not sure that’s a huge loss. That place is a dumpster fire on a steep hill.
I want job postings and a way to reach people I worked with.
I absolutely do not want the click bait and slop.
Doesn’t need the social slop, just the the organized public profiles and companies.

Not yet. But it’s being brought up often enough that somebody will probably start working on it in earnest. IIRC somebody did start somethit, but I think it was abandoned
problem is you need companies being part of it and barring that you need all the people you have ever worked with being on it.
Main alternative (not FLOSS, but European) would be XING! as far as I know
XING has been my compromise. It does feel like more and more of a ghost town though. LinkedIn is where the jobs are.

This morning my unemployed ass saw a post on Reddit of someone talking about leaving indeed/linkedin and an “open source ATS job aggregator and application tracking app” they’re developing (this is the GitHub repo in question, btw). Maybe you or that person in your cooperative can find it useful.
