I’ve had aquariums on and off through the decades. My last one was a 150 L tank, very well planted, and three small schools, zebras, lneons and guppies. All of them keep to small areas in the wild, and see to be fine in that sort of surroundings. Also, schools are mesmerizing.
A Japanese aquarist, Takashi Amano was famous for designing huge aquariums, with massive forests, and just a few fish.
you just made me want to get fish again. i love tetras but i was a kid. i knew shit about fish so i couldn’t keep them alive. by the time i was old enough to properly care for a fish we had our Oscar and those tetras would have just been Brunch. I don’t think we had a fish named Brunch.

I think I’ve actually seen one of his aquariums in Lisbon, it was beautiful.
