• transfers responsibility for registration from individual men to SSS through integration with federal data sources

So we don’t have to worry about forgetting to file a stupid form, right?

Still, failure to register in the draft is considered a crime and can prevent people from receiving state-funded financial aid and employment in numerous states, cause ineligibility for many federal employment opportunities and job training under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act, and can carry a fine of up to $250,000 and jail time for up to five years.

    Bruh…

Alright, I’m feeling kinda feminine rn and I just wear a pretty dress. They hate trans people right?

Actually, I’m feeling kinda “zen” right now… I’m feeling the buddha inside me… I think I’m seeing enlightenment!

Then what’s the point? At first I thought it was actually a good thing, it’s already illegal to not register, so it’s not like it’s taking away the option to decline. But if you still have to do the cards, absolutely nothing has changed!

Which Trump donor got the contract to develop this unnecessary software?

      • Fun Fact: They can deny naturalization to people who claim contientious objection, UNLESS they are actually part of a religion (like you need proof… like a letter from your church, mosque, temple, etc…)

        Like they ask you:

“If required: Are you willing to bear arm on behalf of the United States”

Like this is part of your oath of allegiance…

If they can prove you didnt faithfully take the oath, they can just like… “anull” your whole citizenship…

        Which leads to:

Fun Fact #2: If you’re someone like me who was a greencard holder under 18 while one of your parents naturalized… TA DA! You are already automatically a citizen… skip the whole test thing… saved me a buch of bureaucratic form-filingbullshit…

OH, FUN FACT #3: I never officially had to do the oath… I was 13 and those under 14 are not required to do so…

I actually don’t think they can do any shenanigans against my citizenship UNLESS my mom had “skeletons in the closet” for her citizenship application… 👀

So yeah… my status is tied to my mom’s… kinda unsettling tbh, like I could lose citizenship through no fault of my own… 👀

CO likely will work if you know how to properly do it. However, if you have a health issue, as defined within DoDI 6310.03, Vol. 1, Paragraph 6.28, there’s a good chance you can’t be drafted, even if you’re forced to still be in the SS.
