Probably because I was a socially awkward teen who couldn’t talk to girls, so I spent an inordinate amount of time studying how to please a woman so if I managed to find one, she had one less reason to leave.
Man, yeah.
And it is magical. My 20’s and 30’s I was that guy for a few people, and it’s a noble calling.

Yeah, sex and initiating sex is increasingly an awkward thing for people, so FWB’s are nice to have and people love them until the one comes along.
“Noble” probably isn’t the word I’d choose, but “awesome” certainly fits.
