This short video suggests that reality might not exist independently, but could depend on the observer.
It even claims this idea might help unify relativity and quantum mechanics.
Not sure if it’s true, but I found it mildly interesting.
You’re using AI to turn research papers you don’t understand into science education videos you also don’t understand? What fresh kind of hell.
I actually watched the video and it was surprisingly good, but you might want to tell the AI to give more consideration to the broader context of the field next time, because studies don’t exist in a vacuum. For all we know this paper could be the logical next step in the field (which would lend it credibility) or it could go firmly against well established theory (which would make it an extraordinary claim that needs extraordinary proof).
3d old account. Vague synopsis. Waffling about truthiness. Sketchy link that doesn’t go to a well-known video site.
Does how new an account is really have anything to do with the content? This video is based on an actual paper. I think you can judge it properly if you read it.
Oh not this again…
If the permalink doesn’t work, it’s the 5th engagement bait thread on the same bullshit. Looks automated too.
Yeah, I know. I just want to hear different perspectives.
More proof that short video format content is retarded.
That’s like solipsism, raving mad and irrelevant.
It’s not really solipsism—it’s an observational model grounded in actual experimental data. At the very least, it’s not just some random idea.
No it’s not random, it is a very well known idea, here it’s also called if a tree topples in the forest, and there is nobody to hear it, does it make any sound?
The idea is moronic like a weak form of solipsism, and is an obvious thought that can be derived from Descartes I think therefore I am. But where Descartes actually made a valid point, any derived ideas like this lead nowhere.
It’s completely irrelevant and does NOTHING to help understand reality.
If they think they have done that they should write a paper on it not make a video behind a login.
Thank you for your interest.
There is actually a paper that this work is based on. It is available on ResearchGate and Academia.
I’ll share the link, so if you’re interested, I would appreciate it if you could take a look.
I would also be very interested to hear your thoughts.
