    In Christianity the sun shining is a metaphor for God’s power and moral righteousness, so why not use it for good instead needing to extract stuff from the ground?

      Well, cause then they would have to read the bible and realize they’re charged with taking care if the earth. But that’s too much work, and there’s money to be had! Jesus loved money!

      You’d think oil would be of the devil… Smoking and stinking and of corpses from long dead beings, or planted there by the devil to make us think the earth is older than it is. Meanwhile solar comes from the heavens above, and brings warmth and fresh life…
