I’m really getting sick of this.
Gassing up rumors of a false flag assassination attempt isn’t helping.
Its a meme community… Its just supposed to be political and memes, I don’t think accuracy is a factor.
Where we’re going we don’t need the truth.
So let’s just spread false information as a joke! Surely nothing will go wrong when people spread misinformation as a funny.

But if you’re getting your information from memes, yeah, that’s a problem.
I’ve seen a lot of false flag operations on both Reddit and Lemmy, so none of this is surprising. In this instance, however, I think it’s just a joke.
I’ve been downvoted to shit this morning for daring to question this apeshit conspiracy theory, so for many it’s dead serious. They’ve been blowing up my inbox with angry replies.
I’m on team Occam’s Razor on this. We don’t need complicated conspiracy theories to explain why people keep shooting at the most unpopular and destructive man on Earth.
Though I would like an explanation on why they keep failing spectacularly when a random kid took out Charlie Kirk with one shot.
