Kind of funny to see how much longer the original German is to express the same dialogue, even accounting for the difference in font size.

It conveys a little more meaning. The translation is cut short in the vibes department.

I can’t explain it briefly, but “wohl eine riesengroße Verwechslung” hits different than “huge mistake”

      Ok I’ll try.

“Ist wohl” is translated to “is”, but I would translate “must’ve been”.
“Verwechslung” I would translate as “mix up”.

“This must’ve been a gargantuan mix-up” hits different than “this is a huge mistake”. It has become more plain through translation.

idgi, through out the sith fight, Vader & Skywalker already knew they were biologically related. By both throwing Sidious, they fulfilled both destinies: “bringing balance to the force.”

It’s suggesting that Vader’s mask caused him to mistake Luke as his son, which would be funny because of the whole plot revolving around Luke being Vader’s kid (and Luke being Leia’s brother — which is even funnier due to the sexual chemistry the two characters originally shared).

TL;DR don’t read too much into it. It’s only a joke.
