

I would try to jimmy the window up first. Stick a couple pieces of duck tape to it and give it a yank up while hitting the window up button. If that fails, you’ll probably have to remove enough of that inner panel to reach in with some dykes and nip the cable (you’re replacing it anyways). But most likely they just broke the plastic retainer and it can be pulled up.









Wedge something between the window and the felt strip to give yourself a little more room (you don’t need much). I use those plastic pry bars, but anything that won’t scratch is fine. Then use a credit card or something stiff like that to push the tape down threw the crack and against the window. If the window has aftermarket tint, just do the outside. But if not, doing both sides works better.
