I support a call center and we’re about to implement an AI agent. We’re paying for a model that essentially can talk and has “learned how to learn”, but is otherwise dumb. It’s trained on a very small amount of information, anything we’d give to a real agent, plus the public info on our website.

The result of this should be a bot that says, “I don’t know, should I transfer you to a real person?” a lot, but should hopefully never hallucinate or teach someone how to build a bomb or something.

Dunno how others do it though

Have you and your girlfriend figured out how in the loop you each want to be in each other’s meta relationships? You should feel comfortable coming to your girlfriend and admitting you have feelings for someone you’re hanging out with regularly. For your girlfriend’s part, it’s okay for them if they lean into the compersion of it and want to hear everything about you and Emma, or (if they maybe have some jealousy they might need to work through) ask you to just keep details to yourself.

As far as Emma goes, I don’t think there’s anything wrong with saying to someone that you’re happy with your current relationship style, but also open to being more intimate if they are. Leave it at that and assume you’re still just friends until Emma suggests otherwise.

And that $30-100 steak is going to underperform against a mediocre home cook as long as the latter can take their time and prep the meat properly.

Unless someone I don’t like is buying me dinner, I’m skipping the steak every time. I do it better at home.

The pilot was amazing, but it did set a bar that I felt the rest of the season couldn’t surpass. I’m still looking forward to Season 2 though

Reminds of asking for Final Fantasy Tactics for Christmas. I didn’t realize the game was almost impossible to find until the Greatest Hits reprint.

My parents misunderstood and got me the strategy guide for Final Fantasy VIII. I think I was disappointed at the time, but I still got their money’s worth out of that book.

To be fair, Aragorn was no slouch with that bow when they were fighting their way out of the Mines of Moria. Maybe he was an archer all along who just got overshadowed by Legolas and spec’d late into longsword to be a good party member.
