

Didn’t GoPro start requiring online activation of their cameras a while back? Like customers couldn’t use it out of the box until they installed the smartphone app and activated it?
Edit: Looks like GoPro did try doing it by using dark patterns first and then getting more aggressive.

As someone who has both the Switch 2 and the Switch 1 OLED, I appreciate the performance boost that some of my games get with the 2, but I miss my OLED after giving it to my partner. I have even borrowed it a few times for handheld play because of the better screen and longer battery life.
Ultimately it’s up to you and how badly you want to play Switch 2 exclusives right now. Devs are going to keep making Switch 1 compatible games for years, especially given current global economic trends and the scaling back of larger game dev studios.
Personally, I would wait for Nintendo to make a Switch 2 with a better display. The display on mine is full of ghosting and once you notice it, you can’t un-see it and it’s disappointing.
