19 days agoI’m still acquaintances with someone I now know killed one of their parents. Was told by someone else and confirmed on my own, he hasn’t mentioned it.
I hope I haven’t let it impact our relationship. I don’t wholly know the context and he served his time, should be allowed a fresh start without it being dug up again and again.
Necessary background: When we started dating, both the husband and me were homebodies. As the years have gone by, I’ve developed a taste for going out and experiencing stuff, especially music stuff, that doesn’t even match his taste. Nonetheless I tend to ask him to come along, and he categorigally says no.
He gave me the gift of coming with me to one event of my choosing, per month, for a year. ❤ It was wonderful.
