Widget-wise Markor falls short unfortunately, only a general widget and one for todos, not for individual notes, I’m afraid…

I do this with “Markor”, great notes app for txt and md files. All files locally and synced via Syncthing. Been using this for years, love it.

Used to love uMatrix, but it has been archived now for five years, not safe to use ay more.

Which distro? Debian for example always keeps two kernels: the curent one and the one in use before that, which is what I prefer, never had to rely on more than one backup kernel.

Nginx in front of it, open ports for https (and ssh), nothing more. Let’s encrypt certificate and you’re good to go.
