Are you using Wayland or X11 as your Window Manager (WM)? I refuse to switch to Wayland because of how sluggish it feels on my Debian desktop feel.
Typically you can switch between the 2 on the login screen, usually in the bottom left or right.

In PA, where this bill is from, the state police already give out free gun locks, many other local police departments and community organizations do the same
Don’t manufactures include trigger/chamber locks with the firearm upon purchase? I know they do for us up here in Canada but only because it’s legally required for safe storage laws.

Sane storage laws should be a requirement, especially around minors, Canadians can keep a (non-restricted) shotgun under their bed so long as a lock is on it and the ammo is locked and stored separately.

Murdering cops gonna murder.
I’m still surprised Americans haven’t taken things into their own hands, the Movie Civil War certainly doesn’t feel far off.

I’m always going to say Windows is too heavy to be placed in a server environment, simply wasn’t designed for it, but congrats nonetheless.
Nice karma farming post! :D
Please point to where you see Karma on Lemmy.

Might sound like a dumb question, but have you opened the port on your router?
My ASUS router handles my WireGuard setup, I can forward my home VPN server through one of Protons VPN servers essentially creating a multi-hop setup.

Software has gone many decades without the need of LLM assistance, I vote to tag “Ai” and “Non-Ai” assisted posts.
+1

What distro are you using?
Debian quite literally calls the package “dolphin” so running this command will purge it and reinstall it;
sudo apt purge dolphin; sudo apt install dolphin -y
I know the Windows version has issues updating folders live, but on my Debian machine have not encountered such issue.
Alternatively you can purge KDE itself and reinstall everything.
sudo apt purge *kde*; sudo apt install kde-full kde-standard kde-plasma-desktop task-kde-desktop sddm -y

Yup my bad, I have striked it out of my previous comment.

Even if I was buying a Steam Machine, I would still just use Bazzite.
They both run Arch, both are capable of running KDE & Gnome DE, both are immutable but only one will get dedicated support from the manufacturer and developer.
The use of HDMI CEC is not typical for desktop environments, I doubt you’ll get the same “sleep” functionality on Bazzite.

I voted Pierre because the current government intends to criminalize nearly a million people, myself included, for firearms we purchased legally and have been available to the Canadian market since the 70’s.
Say what you want about firearms, the money put into Bill C21 could’ve gone into mental health awareness or increased the budget to the firearms program & RCMP detachments performing background checks, hell I think an improved Canadian Firearms Safety Course is about due with stricter requirements.

I can really only recommend what the Invidious developers recommend, unfortunately some instance admins have chosen to disable their public APi to prevent abuse or (in my scenario) have restricted their instance to certain geolocations.
If you have a Canadian IP I don’t mind letting people leech off of my instance, shoot me a DM and I’ll give you my domain.

Depending on your configuration your experience will differ greatly.
As mentioned in another comment I made, Freetube relies heavily on either directly connecting to YouTube’s API or proxying through an Invidious instance, perhaps try a different Invidious instance, but in my case Freetube + Invidious works 9 times out of 10 for me.

There are two ways of using Freetube, either with YouTube’s APi or with Invidious’s APi.
When using YouTube’s APi you won’t get the same ad-blocking and proxying benefits compared to Invidious’s API.
One bonus of using Invidious is that your traffic is combined with everyone else’s who use that same instance, for example if you use https://inv.nadeko.net/ your traffic will be masked along side everyone else’s who happens to use that same instance making it harder for big corporations to track you, in this case Google.

C-22 is currently moving forward quickly to a vote despite the many, many criticisms
Shocked I say, Liberals proposing an unpopular bill and completely disregarding any and all criticism. All in the name of public safety.

Freetube + Invidious
Now I don’t know for Fedora in particular but if you can install the XOrg/X11 packages and switch your SDDM theme so that it includes the X11/Wayland toggles perhaps you can get it working?
Unfortunately I can’t be much else help.
