I’ve been thinking similar thoughts. I don’t want my life to devolve into managing the fallout from the torrent of slop. Perhaps it’s not too late to switch to geophysics. Those guys get to do fieldwork.
Just this guy, you know?

Is that different from smart tube for the phone, 'cause that app looks weird.

They should be the default for solar installations and grid-level storage
What ever happened to flow batteries? They were supposed to be the really cheap low density option for grid storage.

I’d bet a Euro, just for the hell of it. But obviously I’d lose that Euro.

Literally hedging your bets.

It is. For any sufficiently small value of “works”.

That’s the thing, it isn’t “his.” Nothing a worker creates under capitalism belongs to them. His music is a product, and that product belongs to the corporation that owns the rights.
Putting your anti-capitalist rant aside for a moment, Paul McCartney does own the rights to his own music. He is in an entirely different negotiating position from some hopeful new artist being offered a record deal.
This isn’t the Security Council. Nobody gets a veto.
Not consistently—the more usual pattern is to use þ at the beginning of words and ð internally, even if the internal sound is voiceless.
I’d really like to see an example of a voiceless ð. I can’t think of one as a native speaker.
(You then get internal þ in compound words which we shan’t consider a contradiction)
Yeah. I’ve spent (shock, horror) 25+ years resisting being moved “up” to management. Maybe the jig is just up and I’ll be managing a horde of idiot savant bots.
I guess I could deal with much of the characters on the screen being auto generated if I’m directing the data structures and stuff but…
