I have long advocated for the cable TV foreign carriage regulations to require no more than 30% of international channels to be from any single country. That would have reduced the overwhelming impact that American “culture” has had on Canada.

This is just me being annoyed that people use acronyms without defining their terms, assuming everyone else understands the abbreviation they used. It may be common where you are, but that isn’t always globally true.
