I understand and appreciate the intention behind this, but I do feel like it makes any list they make less helpful. People are going to buy a computer. Who not point those people to something like a framework, while including a disclaimer about microcode (or whatever the issue is)?

I’m currently an engineer at a hardware tech startup. It is crazy how much upfront capital is needed, even just to build non-form factor test devices.

The one I went to in my city was the biggest crowd I’d ever seen downtown! I hear lots of people say that these protests are useless, but I don’t think so. I felt really encouraged to see so many people, and I’m sure others did too.

A helpful list! I think an additional point worth mentioning is that a heated blanket can keep you warm while consuming much less electricity than a space heater can.
