Explain to me why I should vote for politicians sending billions to Israel, a genocidal country, when our country and our sovereign rights are literally eroding at home. I’ll wait. I vote for democrats every chance I get. Midterms and all.
Tell me, when I see the governor of my state running for VP (A man who’s campaign I supported btw) and he says on TV that he’ll “preemptively strike Iran” and his running mate, the current vice president of the country, saying we need to have the “strongest military force in the world” I’m supposed to support that? While democrats fund a genocide? Forget being worse in Gaza than Biden, Biden and his admin still destroyed the city and laughed about it to voters. They killed tens of thousands.
You really think young voters see that, see them touting around fucking DICK CHENEYS DAUGHTER, the Cheney family being one of the most evil families in my lifetime (look up the Wikipedia page for Halliburton Oil Company to get a start).
Seriously I have no interest in the “lesser evils” because everyone is lesser evil than Trump. That’s the most obvious to everyone but fascists. You can’t convince me that Imperial exploitation and genocide and war is ok if it’s not Trump in office doing it. Insult me all you want, doesn’t change reality.
I am a queer person and I know lots of queer people too and I will block you if you try to say anything gross about Palestine and LGBT rights. I’ve had enough of that and I don’t engage with it anymore

My point is that voting is the very very beginning of your political responsibility as a leftist. There is a lot more to do. And no I don’t mean financially support, I mean organization and community outreach. This should really be seen as something you do first and regardless of who is president. Donate money to your local food shelf if you can, & I mean every month.
Also don’t take what I say too seriously I’m just one guy, I just get annoyed when people bring up establishment democrats and act like if they were president all this would be better. My only gripe is with that rhetoric. You should be doing way more than voting. Like, yesterday.
