The smaller connector looks like a JST SH. I can’t tell what the larger one is from that picture. If you can find out what it is, you can get some contacts and crimp new ones on.

I never bought the network adapter for my PS2, so they won’t be adding any age verification to it.

The AI RAM is HBM. It’s useless for a PC unless someone releases a desktop graphics card that uses it.

For a NAS, you can use Backblaze B2, but they certainly aren’t the cheapest. B2 doesn’t have the limitations that the personal and business plans have, but you pay by the TB.
There are lots of cloud backup providers. Just make sure it supports the OS on your NAS. Any of them that claim to be unlimited will not truly be unlimited.

The software only allows local drives to be backed up, but some people use workarounds to make it backup a large NAS or server.

That’s not surprising with all of the data hoarders abusing the unlimited backups to store hundreds of terabytes.

I would be happy to have any fiber at all. The only options here are satellite and DSL. The DSL is basically unusable and only available to existing customers. I’m pretty sure the ISP wants to make everyone cancel so they don’t have to maintain the copper lines anymore.
There’s definitely a way to play offline. 🏴☠️

I use a mini PC with a wireless keyboard and mouse. There are also remote controls for media PCs if you don’t want to use a keyboard and mouse.
Now you can just buy a CH341 dongle and clip it onto the BIOS flash chip if you need to unbrick the motherboard. It’s easy as long as the motherboard uses an SOIC or DIP flash chip.

265°C is reasonable for a fast CoreXY printer.

A 56k modem is way faster than Meshtastic. It’s more like a 1200 baud modem and everyone in the neighborhood shares the bandwidth.

Making a gun is already illegal in California and Washington. This stupid law won’t make any difference. If someone is willing to break the law to make a gun, they probably are not going to follow this law either. 3D printed guns are rarely used to commit crimes anyways. It takes a lot of time and effort to get one to work well.
This is probably about companies like Bamboo Labs wanting an excuse to lock down printers even more. It will also make it difficult or impossible for smaller companies to sell 3D printers in California to get rid of competition.

You can always just remove microslop from your computer instead.
That idle power consumption doesn’t seem right. That’s less than a Raspberry Pi.
It looks like the B10 dongle I used is not available anymore. I can’t seem to find any other USB dongles that support Aptx LL and Linux. There are several that plug into a headphone jack though.

Unfortunately all of the flexible screens are soft and easy to scratch. I don’t think they will ever be practical.

Banking can be done in person at the bank. Games and media can be pirated.
Any headphones that support Aptx LL will have a low latency when used with a hardware dongle. I have a pair of 1Mii E700 headphones and a 1Mii B10 dongle. The latency is barely noticeable and the dongle shows up as a sound card in Linux with no configuration needed. The headphones will connect to a phone, but will have the typical bluetooth latency.
Firefox supports DNS over HTTPS. Enabling it will bypass the operating systems DNS. You can set a custom server that has ad blocking.
