Mini Settlers looks like my jam, I’d love that if it’s available. Thank you.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•On what specific episode does your favorite "I swear it eventually gets really good" television show actually start turning around?
13·10 days agoSuccession really hit home for me when I realized that every single main character in the show is just awful. I kept trying and failing to find the one I should have sympathy for.
It’s a great little machine. My favourite thing about it is that I can open it up and know exactly what every single part does; it’s super simple and serviceable.
I make a small latte (or three) on my Gaggia Classic.

Selfhosted@lemmy.world•People who are staying on Plex, have you tried Jellyfin? What about it do you not prefer? (real question)
3·15 days agoI have both. My main gripe with Jellyfin is the the Google TV app. It doesn’t seem to have an easily accessible skip 30 or jump to next chapter option. If that was improved, I might be ready to ditch Plex.
Remove the RAM, clean the contacts, run it again. It probably won’t change anything, but it might.

Fuck AI@lemmy.world•Kevin O'Leary's Massive Data Center Project in Utah Gets the Greenlight, Locals Are Furious
19·1 month agoKevin O’Leary and AI data centres go together like flies and shit.
If I like having a web UI means you can do without it, git doesn’t require anything fancy. I just have my git repos on my server and push/pull from my workstations over SSH. It doesn’t require anything but git & SSH on the server. You can even collaborate with others by giving them a locked down account that can’t do anything other then interact with the git repo.
This approach certainly isn’t for everyone. The web UI can be super handy, but if you just want your own self-hosted git server, keep it simple.
which is a bit more economically useful.
My stomach disagrees

My interpretation is that it can go from no output up to 1.2GW in milliseconds. Do most big batteries take more time to ramp up to high output?
