  • If you’re okay with subtitles (As I don’t think it has a dub.), Ranking of Kings is fantastic, recent, and more or less age appropriate. Ling Cage and Hero Inside also fall into that realm (Hero Inside has a dub though.) The original Dragonball (Which is about Goku as a kid doing adventure stuff. Dragonball Z is where he grew up and screamed a lot with gold hair.) and Ultimate Muscle both have english dubs that are solid and definitely were bona fide Saturday morning cartoons. G.I. Joe, Pirates of Dark Water, Street Sharks, and Double Dragon can also fill out a list on the more classic side.

  • Aside from the streamdeck, which tbh i coulda memorized some keyboard commands instead, I can justify the other streaming related buys like the webcam and fancy mic with the boom arm and pop filter as being useful if a bit extra for other shit.

I get dogwater viewers but I just shoot the shit and play stuff I was going to play anyhow so its a few extra bucks to play with some buddies on the proverbial couch heckling or rooting for me as the case may be.

  • Oh someone is going to block me rather than admit they’re wrong. I’m going to lose so much sleep over this.

one of the stupidest arguments I’ve ever seen.

Odd, was gonna say that about you. How does one make a qualified claim without a qualifier? Is English not your first language, or are you just the tyoe of person to hand folks a piece of bread with some jelly on it and insist its a PB&J?

  • Per the 25th:

Thereupon Congress shall decide the issue [of the presidents inability to govern] … determines by two-thirds vote of both Houses that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office, the Vice President shall continue to discharge the same as Acting President; otherwise, the President shall resume the powers and duties of his office.

It’s easier to impeach him rather then hit him with the 25th, impeachment doesn’t take his cabinet and 2/3 of the House and Senate to do it. It just takes a majority of the house and 2/3 of the Senate. Considering that didn’t work the previous couple times, I doubt something that adds an extra layer along with a more difficult vote would either.

Maybe one could argue something like “They’re waiting until after the two year mark so Vance can get the benefits of being the incumbent while also getting two terms” but c’mon, Vance is a charisma black hole. No shot that’s the plan. IMO until the outcry drops his approval to like, sub 20, R’s aren’t going anywhere near getting rid of Trump, and even then I have my doubts.

  • That a particular post “sounds” fake as hell is indeed a specific, qualified claim.

No, it still is not. Qualifying a claim means to carefully scope it and be honest about its limits rather then using a all-encompassing assertion. Saying something sounds fake is not a qualified claim. Saying something sounds fake because many of these ‘Karen’ types of posts are faked on the internet would be one method of qualifying your claim (albeit poorly), while providing specific details about why you believe this one in particular is fake would then be supporting your claim (just to head that argument off.). I encourage you to actually look up some examples of what a qualified claim is if you’re going to try to argue what is and is not one.

I’m not saying that nothing similar ever happened at any point in time which is what you’re trying to get me to defend.

I pointed out numerous counterexamples that we can both agree happen to showcase how this post could be true, which just showcases how your post lacks qualification. Your post was an absolute claim; It doesn’t acknowledge exceptions or counterpoints that one might make.

I’d recommend you bow out of this one, it’s abundantly clear that you’re in over your head here. Or you can keep arguing on the internet about how you’re arguing on the Internet, I’m not your dad. Just some dork who has as much or more free time as you do.

  • That is not what I commented.

    And?

Why are so many arguments on the Internet started like this where a specific, qualified claim is made and then the response tries to pretend a universal, unqualified, ridiculous claim was made instead?

Not sure how this is relevant considering you didn’t make a specific, qualified claim. Saying something “Sounds fake as hell tbh” isn’t a qualified claim by any reasonable metric. If you had instead said, “This sounds fake because <reason>” that would be qualifying your claim.
