Just a reminder that Nimrod was actually the name of a mighty hunter and considered one of the first kings after the floods in the bible. It wasn’t until Bugs used it sarcastically as an insult that it began to be used as a term for fool, or dumbass.

Privacy@lemmy.ml•Is Google moving toward age verification just to have an account for your phone?
3·7 days agoI second this, custom domain on Proton, DKIM, SPF, DMARC all setup, have never had anyone complain about emails not coming through.
The only thing I’ll add is that I did actually go through a migration from M365 to Proton and it was pretty painless, this was a while ago so the process might be better now, but I just exported a PST, used the bridge connector to add proton to Outlook, then imported the PST, once it synced I got rid of my Microslop licensing and switched to the official Proton Mail app, though lately I’ve just been using the web app since I haven’t installed too many apps since switching over to Linux.

1·7 days agoProbably? I’ll be honest, there’s only a few songs by Disciple that I’ve really listened to, but I liked them. Kind of the same with DH, I really like Black Stained Glass

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•What dead car brand would you want to bring back and why?
4·14 days agoBased on what it sounds like they’re doing to their trucks in terms of privacy and your ability to actually own your vehicle, I’m not mad that I can no longer get a newer Ford sedan.

Programmer Humor@programming.dev•Kind of impressive when you think about it
7·16 days agoThe fact that it can’t even get PowerShell right when it should be intimately familiar with PowerShell commands and scripts is absolutely asinine.

4·24 days agoTurns out AI can count bikes better than humans so they’ve decided that’s not enough to confirm that we have thumbs.

3·24 days agoLast time I attempted to log into Facebook it gave me a captcha where it wanted me to select which stone pillar had x number of stones in an AI generated photo. I could never get it right, so I cut my losses and have not gone back.
Just to confirm, you mean Audile, right?
Not sure if you can answer this question, but I’ve tried Markdown in the past with Joplin and one of the issues I had with it was that the codeblocks don’t have a convenient copy button. It separates them out nicely but you still have to highlight to copy and paste.
Maybe I’m doing something wrong, but as far as I could tell, this seemed like a shortcoming of Markdown itself, but is that something helix is able to do? It’s the one thing that’s got me on AnyType over any other note app, but I’m heavily under utilizing it for what it could be good for.
