if Ubuntu can finally ditch the snaps and just use flatpak, we could recommend it again.

Linux@lemmy.ml•I'm planning to build a Linux gaming PC. Any suggestions?
5·1 month agoWell that’s the thing, ampere gpus (rtx 3000+) with the open kernel nvidia module is super solid on wayland now. Anything under rtx 3000 sucks.

4·2 months agoSorry for the confusion, there are two apps.
- Fred TV
- Fred TV Mobile (or Fred TV Next)
The first one is the original one on flathub just for desktop. It has the most features. The second one is a mobile/tv-friendly convergent flutter app that I, from this release, also publish for desktop via Releases for people who want a TV-Friendly UI but on PC.
If I get a lot of good feedback and Fred TV Mobile reaches parity with the original Fred TV, I will publish Fred TV Mobile as Fred TV Next on Flathub for PC

it’s vibecoded, just look at the design
