2·2 days agoReally? He wasn’t more proud of that time he lumbered through Greenland wilderness yelling “MY BOSS WANTS TO BUY THIS PLACE” in his best trust fund voice? He’s got to say “MY BOSS IS VERY IMPORTANT AND IF HE DOESN’T LIKE YOU, YOU’LL BE SO SORRY” to so many heads of state. But I guess he got on TV that time so he can watch it over and over again.

54·7 days agoSo the system that lasted for less than 3 years before enabling Franco worked better than the system between Washington and Nixon? Fascism arises from popularism, someone giving three word answers to difficult questions, it’s always going to rise up and people like to unite under the idea they could get on with things witbout the world being messy and complicated. I quite like the idea of a head of state and cabinet being chosen by lottery, I believe it would have the exact same ebbs and flows of an elected person. but I know that eventually someone would come in and put a stop to it.
And did Fidesz directly provide the crib notes or did they let you copy paste from r/politics directly?

2016·15 days agoOh look just as the AV1 consortium is also deciding to do shakedowns. It’s a good thing the open source community have a history of building functional and well performing codecs, especially when it comes to media formats.
It’s easier to make a bottle to sell in most countries rather than make a difference bottle for a single market. Especially when that market has lax consumer rights laws.
