Yeah, not really.
Especially because this is FOSS. We love our insanely long discussions about formalities.
I am a guy from southern germany. I like scouting, trains and computers. Politically, I would consider myself as a democratic socialist.
(For anyone wondering, yes this is from the same guy, as !DeckPacker@piefed.blahaj.zone)

The great thing about git is, that it is pretty decentralized in principle (everyone has a full copy of all source code and commits on their machines), so it is pretty easy to move your whole repository to an alternative git hoster, like Codeberg.
Damm, that is a long thread, I spent like 25 minutes reading it and only got half way through it

You could also just not use these services. You don’t need them. They were a stupid idea to begin with.
I would recommend you buy a Pixel phone and install GrapheneOS on it, if you want to continue to be able to do what you want with your phone.
It’s in Googles best interest to lock this down even further, so we should try to just not rely on their software anymore

Reddit was a centralized vc-funded social media from the start. That always was and still is the problem with reddit (enshitification etc.)
The Fediverse is none of those things. We have the power. As long as there are good people in the Fediverse, that want and are willing to do great things with it, the Fediverse (or at least a portion of it will be great.
Think of the Fediverse like E-Mail. Shure, there are shitty E-Mail providers. But if you are unhappy, you can just switch your provider and still talk to anyone that has E-Mail. There is no way for a single bad actor to ruin E-Mail for everyone, because there is no one fully in control over E-Mail.

There is a guide for this here, but I don’t think it’s really possible or a good idea to build it for unsupported devices.
At that point it would be better to install Linuage (or a fork of it), because they support devices for way longer or look into PostmarketOS

What’s your budget?
You can still geht really good deals on older used mini pcs

It’s not real, please don’t fall for this obvious marketing bullshit.

That version will probably give them more intelligent answers than the real Zuck
Well, China also is actively committing a genocide against their Muslim minority and invaded Tibet

I guess gender is pretty much meaningless in my opinion. It probably should be abolished.
But also, it’s fine if people care about their own gender.
It’s not that big of a deal as people make it out to be.

Gender is a social construct and describes a certain way we choose to act and dress etc.
So it’s pretty much impossible to be wrong about your gender if you are honest about your ambitions. The only way I could see someone being “wrong” about their gender is if someone says they are a certain gender but deliberately chooses to act in accordance with another. But even then, the line is blurry, so it would be stupid to police, what “true” gender expression is supposed to be.

That isn’t even a real insult.
I think you need to get off the internet and go touch some grass or something.

Shut up, you are annoying

It really depends on the video game I guess. There are a lot of video games, I would consider high art, but there are others, I wouldn’t. That’s really subjective though and other people will probably consider other games as art than me.
But there is no way to objectively determine what art is. My personal definition is like I determine the gender of a person. If the artist says, it’s art, then it is art.

I don’t know what the fuck you are talking about.
It’s still sold, so it definitely has a market value.
If you are talking about sociatal value, then I disagree even more firmly. Art has a lot of value, regardless of what medium it is delivered by.
You know that movies and video games are digital art, right?

Yeah, let’s just take the Mona Lisa and shread it.
Can’t be stealing if I don’t make money from it, right?

They are talking about the file explorer Dolphin, which is available on Linux and Windows.
But it is a core app for the KDE desktop environment, so it is primarily optimized for Linux.
