iOS devices are pretty horrible at keeping a background task going unless apple owns it. Probably why they can get great battery life, but also seems pretty anti competitive. Not even google’s photo backup works well unless you manually open the app once in a while.


The first of many problems is he did away with the equivalent of their president for no good reason.


All politicians and supreme court judges, not just presidents ideally.


Because its implemented poorly with the least amount of humanity. Some kids that went into that system have been lost due to poor paperwork, not to mention the legal citizens that were deported on “accident” for looking too brown.


The whole point is that the economies of scale don’t work to pay your staff and fixed costs at lower numbers. The damage is nonreversible, like economy studies show when you have uncertainty on the market.


The Wii u was honestly great if you skipped the Wii since it was backwards compatible, but also had its own set of games (decent enough to re-release on the switch). The Wii being to popular and the Wii u being just slightly different seems to have killed it.
I would have guessed they made the same mistake, although at least this time its clear its not an add-on but a new console.
Or what amazon did for many years, or Uber, OpenAI, etc. Most startups really.
