I mean on some level everything is similar. Menendez is 2024. It regularly happens with one party and not so much with the other. With the other it usually involves formal investigation and you don’t see the party cleaning its own house much. so at one level they are similar (politicians) and in another they are light years apart (violating the constitution, bribery, corruption)

individual occurences yeah but this administration its part of policy. If one ice agent did not do due process once or heck if it even happened once in awhile but the agency investigated and corrected the occurence or if not if its parent agency did or if not if the secretary of the department did or if not if the president stepped in or if not if the congress did its duty. Then it would not be policy. actually the policy is when the president did not act. it going further just shows its the whole party behind it.

one over its history has brought regulations, put forth healthcare plans, increased consumer protections, increased social wealfare programs, has increased taxes on the wealthy, improved the nations infrastructure, incentivized energy efficiency and use of renewables… It really gets me how folks like to just ignore good things and be like. its not enough and they are all the same. I have been experiencing it for over 50 years and its certainly not all the same. I really get annoyed at the biden hate. His actions on student loan forgiveness, junk fees, infrastructure, renewables, anti monopoly, corporate minum tax, tax on stock by backs, stopping non competes. These are the things I prefer to see an administration over unmarked paramilitary kidnapping and renditioning folks to foreign gulangs. The line is way better is better than way worse.
