Why can’t it also refer to physical goods and services that deteriorate due to profit-seeking?
Because there are more accurate names like:
Planned obsolescence
Shrinkflation
And probably more
What term applies to lower initial quality, smaller sizes for more money and a design that fails early all the the same time.
It’s been made shitty, therefore it has been enshitified.
