Ardern unfortunately ended her term prematurely after having been through three major disasters (Christchurch terrorist shooting, Whakaari eruption which killed 22 people, and of course COVID) and has been chased out of the country by a bunch of rancid conspiracy nutters (and the far right politicians that support them). The Prime Minister of a tiny country like NZ is only going to get well known for negative reasons for the country, even if she handled those issues mostly well.
I’ve never heard Jacinda Ardern mentioned until now. And Barack Obama was the first black POTUS (and also ridiculed by some because of that). Xi Jinping is probably the best example.

He looks good next to the guy who invaded Iraq and the guy who is currently bombing Iran.
