How come there are no shadows in that photo
This was shot at high noon, with diffuse lighting from the ground.
It looks more like a cloudy day to me, and the clouds act as a diffuser. But they probably had lights on the ground too, because you can see shadows under the guy’s heel and behind the guys on the right.
But yeah I’m pretty sure the red carpet is photoshopped in.
That heel shadow does not look natural at all, unless his other foot was a light source. It does look very odd to me, but a diffusion model would do a better job at faking shadows. Looks like someone really wanted the shot to feature an unnaturally saturated red carpet?

Maybe his uniforms were using too much valuable fabric that could have been used in Kim Jong’s pants suit outfits.
