Similar things are being done here in the US to teach landowners that a few simple property management changes can make a tremendous difference to the wildlife. In many cases, it’s simply doing less work than they were doing, leaving bits of property a little less worked.
I love these barn owl recovery stories because it demonstrates it doesn’t need to be difficult to save local wildlife, we just need to be aware and mindful of their needs.
