Without having seen the video, the concept of a clear backpack is a great metaphor to explain to people why claims like “if you value your privacy so much, you must be hiding something” and similar are pointless,
since I bet they would feel differently about carrying such a backpack.
In the early 2000s I saw ads online for devices to smuggle alcohol into concerts and sports games. I never clicked on the banners, but the banner showed binoculars with a hidden compartment to pour in alcohol like vodka.

Clear bags and backpacks have been a common requirement at many concerts for a while now, and I havent seen anyone rioting.
