For me, I like the replacement TMR Joy-Con sticks by Gulikit that feel smoother and will last longer. I also have a Gulikit KK3 Max controller, which feels comfortable to use while being relatively repairable
What are some neat products you use that value right to repair and right to own?
edit: To clarify, I’m not a bot for Gulikit. They aren’t a perfect company and I do have criticisms of their controllers. Like their QC for their controllers is reported to be…not all that great. My unit is fine, but plenty of users has reported borked controllers on arrival.
I just want to hear about some cool repairable stuff from everybody that I might not have heard about! Many people already know about Framework/Thinkpads/System76/Tuxedo/etc for laptops and Fairphone for smartphones, so I would like to hear about other cool stuff like that! It doesn’t necessarily need to be electronics, just any projects you find useful or interesting

My 3D printer: Prusa i3 MK3S+, completely open-source Firmware and mechanical design. I have made many customization and upgrades over the years. It started as a MK3 model, I upgraded it to MK3S and then MK3S+. Today I could upgrade it to MK3.5 or MK3.9 but I don’t see the necessity at the moment.
This helps me to upgrade and repair many things around the house that would otherwise be expensive to fix or would otherwise get thrown away.
Ooh yeah Prusa is great! The upgradeability of their printers sounds super cool. I unfortunately have a Bambu printer, and although they sell repair parts, they are going very anti-consumer with recent changes, blocking third party software (so I have mine set to LAN only mode, primarily to continue using OrcaSlicer)
