There’s a lot of them, and they’re actively buzzing around. I suppose they’ll have a good chance to survive the winter, unless a bear gets them. I probably won’t take much if any honey, so they’ll have more.

Be glad if they swarm, because this supplies the hive with a new queen after the old one has left with the swarm.
If you don’t intend to manage the queen situation yourself, letting them swarm is the easiest way to get that job done.
