When I lay down in bed, mine lays with her back against my chest and lifts her head so her nose is at the base of my neck to tell me that’s what she wants. I’ll rub her tummy for a while and when she’s done she’ll curl into a ball with her back against me. It’s very cute.
My cat absolutely loves her tummy rubbed.

She’ll crawl up on my chest and flop down on her side to tell me “time to give me belly scritches for the next two hours” 😄
