    I am no engineer, so take this with a grain of salt, but i think it’s to keep the energy produced by the goat contained within the chamber. The internal goat engine was a huge boost to goat efficiency at the time.

      Oh, I see. Like, containment? I wonder if a breach would be catastrophic, releasing terrible amounts of compressed goat energy, or merely result in a loss of goat pressure.

      Maybe a rocket scientist can weigh in.
