Medicare is better than nothing, but still could be better to have more affordable healthcare, which most other countries, including poor ones, already have.

The typical mindset of “lesser evil”, “perfect is the enemy of good” or “utopia is idiocy” are thought terminating clichés in other countries by guess whom? Conservatives. You probably own stocks in United Health.

Somehow you’ve mental gymnastics’ed your way into ignoring a core point I made in the immediate previous comment that the affordable healthcare you’re describing would have been passed by the DNC if not for an independent refusing to vote for it.

The DNC have been watering down popular policies all the time to appease their donors and use many excuses to get away from backlash. They get some Democrat members to “cross the aisle”, and those individuals are conveniently either retiring or not getting elected anytime soon so they don’t have to face being voted out. Most Americans see this manipulative tactic by the DNC except you and neoliberals.

The Independents have been watering down popular policies

          In this case.

Sorry to hear that you oppose progress and want 70 Million people thrown off healthcare coverage.

And those 70 million prefer socialised healthcare, instead of their life being at the whim of the likes of United Healthcare who would reject their health insurance claim for breaking a toe. It’s very telling you don’t advocate for primarying for progressives to replace the DNC. I guess you benefit financially from the system, which is a typical conservative and neoliberal attitude that ironically empowers the far right even more.
